So much for the whole idea of the software making it easier for me to blog. I really need to work on just taking some time for myself to get working on things.
My biggest problem right now is the massive list of things I’m interested in tinkering with computer-wise that all seem really nifty and worth exploring. I started keeping a list a while ago, which turned into a rather elaborate directory structure, which I’m now thinking I probably should just throw into a subversion repository. Too much to do, so little time.
The other problem is that by the time I get home from work, I’m absolutely wiped out. Thinking about anything more intellectually challenging than, say, how to open a sleeve of Thin Mints is difficult. The sheer volume of things I’ve learned in the course of this job is extraordinary, but it’s definitely been at the expense of my recreational programming.
I can’t imagine I’m alone in dealing with this problem.
